The Lean Leadership Institute was created to:

• Provide and enhance the education of all areas of the workplace in the practices of Lean Leadership and Management.
• Introduce individuals and companies to the Lean structure, process and philosophy approaches.
• Enhances its members’level of expertise in implementing and sustaining Lean and kaizen continuous process improvement. And to
• Assist in eliminating all forms of waste and defects.

The core of the Lean Leadership Institute is coursework and workplace projects that lead to certification. Four levels of certification have been developed: Lean Leader, Lean Instructor, Lean Mentor, and Certified Lean Organization. LLI offers on-going support and materials for students of Lean who seek to develop their capabilities and visual reinforcement for the work environment.
